Prepare yourself because the DLC train is about to pull into the station Battlefield 1. Yes “In The Name Of The Tsar” is the newest expansion coming to Battlefield 1 on the 19th of September or two weeks earlier if you own the Premium Pass. Publisher EA claims that it will be the most extensive expansion yet.
Now, what does this DLC have to offer? Well for the price of 15$ US (or 50$ US as part of the Premium Pass) you get six new maps, a new game mode and more. One of the new maps is already playable to people who own the Premium Pass called Lupkow Pass. The others are Albion, Galicia, Brusilov Keep, Tsaritsyn and Volga River.
The new mode is called supply drop which was probably not the best choice for a title since the Call of Duty series has turned that into quite the dirty phrase over the last few installments but that´s beside the point. In this mode, set on the Eastern Front, teams fight over supply drops which provide them with additional weaponry which gives them an advantage over the opposing team.
New Operations like the Brusilov Offensive will also be added along with more medals, dog tags, and service stars.
So what are you waiting for? Grab your rifle, hop into the trenches and prepare to jump head first into the chaotic mess that is Battlefield 1 once more.
