Prepare To Dine?…

Code Vein is the newest game from the same developers that made God Eater, the game’s publisher Namco Bandai, released the official gameplay trailer today, the game definitely has some similarities and inspirations taken from the souls-borne series, hinted by the tagline of the concept animation trailer ” prepare to dine”. Referring to the famous “Prepare To die” Tagline.

Gameplay in Code Vein, the gameplay consists of dungeon crawling and souls like combat (from what was shown) Hopefully the final game changes the gameplay a bit since the souls-like combat doesn’t work with every game *cough*Lords Of The Fallen*cough*, but it can be used in a good way like in Nioh, but I digress. According to Namco Bandai

“As players venture out into the world, they will be able to choose a partner companion from the various residents of Vein. Added strategy presents itself when players choose companions that complement their play style to give them a fighting chance against the vicious enemies they’ll be up against through their journey”

The world in Code Vein basically ended, since “bloodlust” caused people to transform into horrendous monstrosities that ended the world. ( That’s all we know)basic_weapon_10_1493393227.png

The game’s environments look promising and will add variety to the game so I won’t lie, I’m excited. If the game’s story follows through a variety of environments it could change up the enemies and level design, which can make the game better in a lot of ways.

The game is planned to release in 2018 for unspecified platforms.
